TORAJA

Kinda miss my holiday time with my family, last year we went to Toraja South Sulawesi, beautiful places very ethnic,it takes 8 hours drive from my city *humm long trip huh

The cliff face at Londa, in which caves hold coffins

hanging graves

These are Tau Tau - wooden effigies (likenesses) of the dead people buried inside the cave

inside the main burial cave

true love, sadly they must die together

Tongkonan are the traditional Torajan ancestral houses.

To the Toraja, the tongkonan is more than just a structure. The symbol of family identity and tradition, representing all the descendants of a founding ancestor, it is the focus of ritual life

THIS IS MY OUT LOOK THAT DAY
